April Favorites

Hello! I am back and ready to get back into the swing of things! I have had a rough passed few months so I felt highly unmotivated to pick up a camera or even open up my website. But I am finally feeling back to myself and I thought what a better way to come back than a favorites post. Being the nosey person I am I love to know what people are loving, so if you are anything like me then please enjoy!

Lets begin with the basics…skin care:

Skin care to me has become so important, so if I can recommend some products that might help other people with skin care needs I will definitely share.

Let’s start with the product of all products, one that I talked about in my January Favorites, Sunday Riley Good Genes Lactic Acid Treatment. I have every good thing to say about this. My skin has never seen better days. I stopped using it for a while and completely forgot about it and I have no idea why. It is so life changing, even though it is a little pricey it works and thats all that matters to me.

Pixi is a brand that I have been hearing all about and have been really wanting to try. I picked up the Glow Tonic and the Double Cleanse and let me just say these two together are simply amazing my skin looks and feels so clean after using the both of these.

Josie Maran is such a beautiful brand, I love her products so when I saw that her Whipped Argan Oil amongst other products came out in mango scents I knew I just had to have it. It’s so moisturizing and smells absolutely delicious. It’s a great scent for the spring/summer time.

No monthly favorites would be complete without some makeup products

Starting with the base the Make Up For Ever smoothing primer has been giving be the perfect smoothed out skin that I have been looking for. Foundation wise, I cannot get enough of this Dior Skin Forever foundation. Oh my god I do not know how I have lived without it. It stays on my skin for what feels like forever (no pun intended), and makes my skin look so flawless. I highly highly highly recommend to everyone.

I got this Violet Voss X Laura Lee palette at IMATS after hearing lots of good things about it. Let me just say WOW!! All the colors are so pigment, so creamy, and so blendable.

I have been glowing lately thanks to this palette created by the lovely Nicole Guerriero and Anastasia Beverly Hills highlighting palette. It is used most days and I always get so many compliments on my cheek bones when I wear any of these colors.

When I am not wearing the Nicole Glow on my cheeks then I am usually wearing this new Jeffree Star and MannyMua Eclipse highlighter. Its such a beautiful color. I have also been loving the lipstick that came out with collab in the color I’m Shook. It is unlike any color that I have and it look so beautiful on every skin tone.

Glitter. Who doesn’t love themselves some glitter. I bought these Lit Cosmetics glitter at IMATS and have been loving them. I get so many compliments every time I wear them and I am already about to order some more colors. Tarte came out with a unicorn collection, it included a repackaged Lights, Camera, Lashes mascara that I knew I just had to have because just look at that holographic goodness. But, it is also a great mascara that I have come to love again!

Last but definitely not least some hair products. My life cannot go on without dry shampoo. Washing my hair is such a task and something I do maybe twice to three times a week…(I know)…. Don’t worry though I still shower daily, just without washing my hair. So in order to keep my hair looking, feeling, and smelling great I always try out some new dry shampoos and these two have quickly become a staple. They are so lightweight and smell amazing. For more of a one a day quick dry shampoo I will use the Living Proof and for a reapply I love using the Ouai Haircare one especially because its easier to run my fingers through it after.
