January Favorites 2017

IMG_1243.jpgI cannot believe the month of January is already over! I have been trying a few new products here and there, and I have also been rediscovering some old products that I grew to love again throughout the month, so though I would share my favorites. January for me was definitely the month of skin care. I explored out of what I usually use and loved it. I did also have some makeup favorites as well, but skin care was number one.

My first holy grail of this month is the Glam Glow THIRSTYCLEANSE Daily Hydrating Cleanser. I got it as a gift and I now swear by this cleanser, it makes my skin feel super clean and hydrated. That is always what I look for when testing new products so this one is not going anywhere for a while. I then tried the Mario Badescu Aloe Vera Toner. It is a toner that is made for dry skin, so its not harsh while still helping to take away any dirt from my face. At night I started to use the Sunday Riley Luna Sleeping Night Oil. I truly believe this combined with the Sunday Riley Good Genes Lactic Acid Treatment, which I use in the morning, has improved the appearance and texture of my skin. My skin has never looked better and I have these two products to thank the most. Face masks are also another product that has truly helped my skin. I am now a firm believe in face masks. I never really used them before but now I try to use all different ones that will benefit my skin at least every other night. My favorites include Origins, First Aid Beauty, Glam Glow, Egg Cream Mask, and Dr.Jart. These are just some but they do help to give my skin intense hydration or brightness that I also go for. Speaking of hydration the Carmex Lip Balm really helped to keep my lips moisturized during the cold!

IMG_1262.jpgMakeup wise this month my go to’s were either these Morphe palettes or the Kylie Cosmetics Royal Peach Palette. From left to right: 35OS, 35N, Royal Peach, 35F, 35OM. I have used these palettes so much in January. Some are new but the others are ones that I had but totally forgot how good they were. I strongly suggest Morphe palettes to anyone who wants to expand their eyeshadow collection but don’t want to spend too much money for great quality. I have not been disappointed with any of their palettes that I have gotten.

Along with the Morphe Palettes, their brushes are ones that I cannot live without. I use them overtime I do an eye look. They are super soft and all do their job very well. I am definitely going to be purchasing more in the near future.

I never really used eyeliner before I discovered the Stila Stay All Day Liner. It changed my views on eyeliner completely and I started using it more often than not. It sticks to its name and stays all day. It is also very easy to apply which is why I reached for it more often then not. I heard great things about the Make Up For Ever Mist& Fix so I got a sample size, and let me just say I LOVE IT! It sets my makeup so well without that greasy feeling, and it helps it to last all day. My go to lippie of this month was the Kylie Cosmetics Angel Liquid Lip. I got this as apart of her holiday limited edition mini liquid lipsticks and I have used it ever since. The color compliments me so well and it lasts all day!

Let me know what you were loving this month and I might give them a try!!
