Banana Bread Recipe

When I go into the kitchen and see a bunch of extremely riped bananas I automatically begin to gather everything I need to make banana bread. This recipe is extremely simple to follow and tastes so delicious. There was never a time that I failed while making this tastey treat.

What you need :

1 Cup Sugar

1/2 Cup Butter (I use salted)

2 Eggs

1 Teaspoon Vanilla

2 Cups Flour

1 Teaspoon Baking Soda

1/2 Teaspoon Salt

4 Small or 3 Medium  2 Large Ripe Smushed Bananas (I love adding at least 1 or 2 extra bananas in my recipe)



  • Preheat oven to 350° F
  • Mix together the sugar and butter until combined
  • Add eggs and vanilla and mix until smooth
  • Add flour, backing soda, and salt and mix until you get a dough
  • Add desired amount of bananas and mix until you get a thick mixture that should be a little chunky
  • Pour into a greased loaf pan and cook for about 55 minutes


(Finished product was consumed too fast before I was able to get a picture, but I’m sure you will all understand once you make yours!)
